Countdown Initiated

Three friends, Erin, Mateo, and Noel, have formed a club called the Star Gazers. Their goal is to find out what lies beyond our planet, and they are certain that visitors from other worlds are coming to Earth. Their search begins with a set of classified documents tied to Nellis Air Force Base, the place where Erin's mother is employed.

The documents point to a program called the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program, and the trail leads the young investigators to a hidden underground training site. There, they are caught inside a UFO heading for Europa, one of the many moons orbiting Jupiter.

This graphic novel series mixes its adventure with science, technology, engineering, and math content, including sidebars and callouts that explain real concepts. Readers also get activities, profiles of the main characters, original illustrations, a table of contents, a glossary, and an index.
