Crankenstein

A boy who looks ordinary has a secret: when something goes wrong, like a rainy afternoon, a popsicle dripping away, or being sent to bed early, he turns into a grumbling, muttering creature known as Crankenstein. Readers are warned to keep their distance from this grouchy monster that seems impossible to defeat.

The story takes a playful turn when Crankenstein runs into another grump just like him. Their meeting could go badly, or it could turn out to be exactly the cheer-up he has been missing.
