Crankosaurus

Cranky Chicken is back for another round of early-chapter-book fun, this time with his friend Speedy the worm. When Speedy wants to play, Cranky turns him down, since his nap comes first and skipping it is simply not an option.

While Cranky dozes, Speedy begins to wonder who he really is and what it truly means to be a worm. The two set out to find answers to his questions. Their search leads them to an egg, and they must work together to look after it.

The three stories in this illustrated chapter book focus on listening to others, lending a hand to friends, and learning new things. Fans of the earlier adventures of Cranky and Speedy will enjoy seeing their friendship grow, and readers who like Narwhal and Jelly or The Bad Guys may find this a good match.
