Crayola

Tracing the story of Crayola from its beginnings, this illustrated volume follows Binney & Smith through its early days producing carbon black and red oxide pigments. The book was prepared with the company's authorization.

Alongside that corporate history, the book profiles individual crayon colors, from sky blue and sea green to the 118 Crayola shades currently available. Each color gets its own portrait, so readers can browse the palette as well as the timeline.
