Creo Parametric 8.0 Advanced Tutorial

Designed as a follow-on to the author's earlier Creo Parametric Tutorial, this book takes readers from the basics into the software's more advanced tools. Each of its eight lessons focuses on a handful of major topics. Rather than only listing steps, the text also explains the reasoning behind each command, and it gives a brief step-by-step walkthrough of every new command sequence. The earlier book's approach carries over, and the lessons pick up exactly where that one ends.

The coverage is an overview of the functions most often used in professional work. Topics include customizing the working environment, advanced feature creation such as sweeps, round sets, drafts and tweaks, user-defined features, patterns and family tables, along with layers, Pro/PROGRAM, and advanced drawing and assembly functions.

Throughout the lessons, readers build the parts for a medium-sized modeling project: a small three-wheeled utility cart. Each lesson ends with project parts that apply the techniques taught in that lesson, and the final lesson brings the parts together in a complete assembly.
