Cubism

This book for young readers introduces cubism, the art movement that changed how artists portrayed the world. Cubism offered a new, experimental and challenging way of seeing, merging several viewpoints into one image and celebrating geometric forms.

The movement began in Paris in the early twentieth century with the artists Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso. From there it spread around the world and influenced many other artists, including Piet Mondrian and Paul Klee.
