Daman Chakra

Daman Chakra is a Hindi crime novel by Surender Mohan Pathak, one of the best-known names in Indian crime writing. It belongs to his popular Vimal series, and murder is at the heart of the series.

The novel was reissued by HarperCollins India nearly two decades after its first release, as one of five Vimal titles in a box set. The others are Painsath Laakh Ki Dakaiti, 6 Crore Ka Murda, Jauhar Jwala and Hazaar Haath. Each of the five sold more than 50,000 copies when first published, so the set is a good way for longtime fans to revisit the series or for new readers to start it.
