Dangerous Games

Reese Turmel, a former Navy SEAL, has stopped believing in long-term relationships since his wife was unfaithful while he was overseas. Still, the moment he walks into Treats Bakery and sees the woman behind the counter, he feels a pull he cannot dismiss, and he makes an effort to ignore it.

Sadie Pierce has her own reasons to keep men at arm's length. A man she once let into her life emptied her bank accounts, and now she is about to lose the bakery she built. She is determined to resist Reese, who has no intention of backing off. As her deadline approaches, he presents her with a proposal she finds hard to turn down, one that brings unexpected consequences for both of them. Reese must learn to open up again, Sadie must learn to trust, and the two of them end up fighting for their survival together.
