Daniel's Final Week

Victor Quade, a figure the world has come to revere, appears to have risen from death, and across many nations people now proclaim him to be God. When he decrees that buying groceries, visiting a doctor, and nearly every other part of daily life will require a mark showing loyalty to him, Emma Grady and her friends in New York realize they have to escape. Meanwhile, in Israel, the Jewish people have embraced Victor as their messiah without knowing that he plans to bring about their destruction.

Across the globe, Jews and followers of Jesus are being killed, and Zerah Adler works to shelter as many of them as he can through this brutal and unstable era. The book follows Emma and Zerah to the end of their stories, closing the end-times trilogy that began with The Time of Jacob's Trouble. Its author, Donna VanLiere, is a bestselling writer.

The final chapters turn to Scripture to describe the future God has promised, and the story's outlook is hopeful rather than bleak.
