Danny Boyle

Danny Boyle was raised in Lancashire by Irish Catholic parents who had emigrated to England. He rose to prominence as a film director in the 1990s with the low-budget thriller Shallow Grave and the drug drama Trainspotting. This book uses interviews to trace his career, covering each major project, from those early films to the Academy Award-winning Slumdog Millionaire and his direction of the opening ceremony of the London Olympics.
