Dark Curse

Lara Calladine grew up in a harsh, frozen place, and she has never fit in anywhere. As a Dragonseeker with ties to three different species, she learned early to rely on no one and to make her own way. She has good reason for her caution, since the dangers waiting beyond her icy childhood proved even worse.

Now an expert on ice caves, Lara is trying to trace the source of the nightmares that haunt her. The one person who may be able to help is Nicolas De La Cruz. Centuries spent hunting and killing have worn him down, and he wants to know what it is to love someone without the pull of bloodlust.

The two travel together through the perilous Carpathian wilderness, and their wary alliance slowly turns into an intense attraction. But their pasts are more closely linked than either knows, and the secret they share could destroy them both. This is a dark, sensual entry in Christine Feehan's Carpathian series. The edition also includes bonus content.
