Dark Galactics

Dark Galactics by Eric Stever is a collection of twelve science fiction stories that shift between frightening and comic, with a surreal streak running through most of them. The lineup includes an ancient extraterrestrial held captive inside an Aztec temple, a band of centuries-old vampires who clash with the Environmental Protection Agency, alien conquerors who ban music on Earth, a Neolithic warrior confronted by a technology far beyond his experience, and a young social media celebrity stranded aboard a spaceship.

The book is pitched for the Halloween season. It carries a PG-13 rating, but it is best suited to adults because of its language and horror content.
