Dark Legacy

Emeline Sanchez has been living in a secluded compound, far from the world, but she has not been able to leave the labyrinth beneath the city behind her. There, a powerful master vampire forced her into an exchange of blood, and her body has ached ever since. Worse, his voice follows her. It calls to her in the dark and gives her no peace. The children she helped rescue from him are slowly recovering, guarded closely by their Carpathian protectors. Emeline is convinced that the only way to keep them safe is to give herself up, even if it costs her everything. The danger is bigger than one vampire's hold on her. Her beauty draws the undead, and her psychic gift acts on them like a drug, driving them into a frenzy that will keep them hunting her. Her one hope lies with a Carpathian warrior, whose blood may be the only thing strong enough to break the bond and save her. This is a paranormal romance in Christine Feehan's Carpathian series.
