Date with Dad

Meet POA, a five-year-old girl bursting with energy and ambition, with the whole world seemingly within reach. Using her imagination, she travels to new places where she takes the wheel as a fearless superhero. The series is written by debut author LaToyia Jones and is meant to show young minds the many possibilities that open up through adventurous play.

In Date with Dad, the first book in the series, POA pictures the exciting details of an upcoming date with her father. She sets out to use her superhero powers to predict how the evening will unfold, but she has no idea how memorable it is about to be.

POA was inspired by LaToyia's own experience with the annual Him & ME dance, an event that brings fathers and daughters together to strengthen their relationships. The book also gives parents a chance to spend more time with their little girls and connect with them. The series is known as Adventures of POA.
