About This Book
Northern Canada, the not too distant future, it's December. A massive blizzard has blanketed most of North American in layers of deep white snow, disrupting communication, travel, and deliveries. In the oil town of Fort McMurray, Alberta power is disrupted and all cell phone communication ceases. The RCMP declares a state of emergency and begins evacuating the city. Harsh weather and mass panic results in accidents and injuries all over the city. Recent reports of violent and brutal attacks committed seemingly at random had been reported all over the world. RCMP officers all over Fort McMurray are attacked by gangs of these psychos, abandoned oil sites become infernos and the loss of life is unimaginable. In a small downtown apartment a young man will awaken into this hell on earth, alone and disconnected. Unaware of what has occurred he will do his best to make sense of what has become of his small part of the world. Learning things from the people he meets and wondering what has become of those he loves and cares for. Follow Roland Castle as he battles a blizzard, the walking dead in the first thrilling book of the Dead Cold Trilogy.
