Dear Mr Len!

Friends have long urged Len to put his travels into a book. Known to many as a skilled storyteller, he has a habit of sharing his journeys over dinner tables and in slideshow talks for small groups. His first trip abroad came in 1977, when he joined a group of New Zealand university graduates visiting the People's Republic of China, and he has been on the move ever since.

This collection draws on more than four decades of travel across over 35 countries. Len's goal is to amuse and inform readers, and to bring a little laughter into moments that would otherwise be tense.
