Deathly Touch

Jazmine St. Clair has spent most of her life apart from others, ever since a childhood touch killed a boy when she was nine. At nineteen, she is awkward, avoided by most people, and under orders never to let another person touch her. When a string of supernatural abductions by a secretive group draws her in, she meets a vampire who changes everything.

Evan Kitagawa used to be a restless, bad-tempered member of the lower undead ranks, going nowhere. Jazmine's touch restores him to life, granting him the privileges of a higher-ranking living vampire. Ordered by the leader of his vampire town to infiltrate Jazmine's community, he finds himself drawn to the stranger he was sent to watch, even though the attraction could cost him his loyalty.

Jazmine cannot shake her suspicion that Evan is hiding something, especially since he is one of the few beings who can survive her touch. Still, a bond neither of them can explain keeps pulling them closer, and their feelings are growing. As kidnappings increase and the two towns grow more distrustful of each other, the pair must work out the truth about their connection before they become the next targets.

This new adult paranormal romance mixes mystery, emotion and action, and will appeal to readers who enjoyed Warm Bodies, The Vampire Diaries and the manga My Little Monster. It is the Paranormal World universe installment Deathly Touch, published by C C Solomon.
