Demon Days

Artist Peach Momoko brings a fresh take on the Marvel Universe, weaving together demons, monsters, mutants and magic. A swordswoman who roams from place to place arrives at a village under demonic attack, carrying a blade with psychic powers. Among the threats are a black-and-white demon with a grotesque tongue and another that may be the most powerful demon of all.

At the center of the story is Mariko Yashida, who hears voices and has dreams that feel uncomfortably real. Her red-haired maid, who always wears black, may be hiding more than she admits. When Mariko sets out on a journey, the woods prove full of dangerous creatures, including a mysterious blue-skinned woman and a towering giant with superhuman strength and claws.

This collection gathers several 2021 and 2022 comics from the Demon Days line: the X-Men, Mariko, Cursed Web, Rising Storm and Blood Feud series, each represented by its first issue. It also includes issue 4 of King in Black, which serves as the Demon Days prelude, and issue 4 of Elektra: Black, White & Blood, a Demon Days story from 2021.
