Depraved

The story alternates between two voices. Black describes a madman who injured his wolves and tried to take Elena. He wants that man sent to the lowest depths of hell and plans to make him suffer in every way imaginable. Black also intends to rebuild his shattered pack, heal the wounded wolf he cares for, and marry her, so thoroughly that she forgets any other dangerous man ever existed in her world.

Elena tells the second half of the story. After the Lobos were attacked, she feels lost and wonders how anyone keeps going after losing a part of their soul. Her Jonah is lost too, and her grief is raw, so she turns to Black and begs him to become the hard, merciless protector she never wanted to rely on. She had hoped to despise him, but the fury in his eyes and his savage strength feel like rescue. She once wanted a gentle man, but now she needs someone fierce, and she knows exactly where to find him.

This is a dark ménage romance. The author asks readers to read the note at the beginning of the book before starting.
