Destin

This novel reworks the animated Winx Club series for young adult readers and is the first book connected to Netflix's Fate: The Winx Saga. It follows the events of that show's first season and includes extra scenes and background for characters that never appear on screen.

Students travel to Alfea International School from across the Otherworld to learn magic and bring their powers under control. Inside the castle, five students who have never met are assigned to share a room. Aisha is an athlete who pushes herself hard, and her talent with water makes her the envy of her classmates. Terra means well but often fumbles, and her connection to nature can unexpectedly overwhelm rivals. Musa keeps mostly to herself, shielding her mind from the emotions of those around her. Stella is a real princess whose command of light draws admiration and intimidation alike. Bloom is the outsider, a girl from the human world whose fire power once nearly destroyed her family.

The five are ordinary teenagers who want to figure out who they are, make friends, and fit in at a new school. Their plans change when an ancient evil, defeated long ago, reappears beyond the castle walls and forces them to test what their powers can do. Along the way they uncover a secret that could overturn what they know about the Otherworld and about themselves.
