Dialed In

Dialed In is a practical guide to Christian manhood from podcast host Jim Ramos. It works through twenty qualities of a man of God drawn from Paul's letters to Timothy and Titus, with qualities such as servanthood, vigilance and faithfulness among them. The book rests on the idea that males are born but men are made, and it aims to motivate and equip men to become spiritual leaders in their homes, churches and communities while standing firm in a dangerous world.

Ramos speaks to the longing deep in the masculine soul and addresses men who wonder how to lead well in a confusing culture. Readers will look at what it means to function at full capacity in every part of life, why Paul's letters are meant for all believers and not only for pastors, and what true masculinity looks like in God's eyes. The book also covers how men can live lives surrendered to Jesus Christ.

Its premise is that God made man to live at his highest level, spiritually and physically, and to carry the full weight of his masculine soul. Self-assessments and questions for small groups are included, and the book moves past vague principles to help men become God's man and hear the words of praise from Jesus' parable, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."
