Disillusioned

Niamh has spent three years trying to find her footing since her own world was turned upside down. She is determined not to be fooled a second time, and when a chance to uncover the truth appears, she is abruptly pulled into a different realm, one that has endured hardships of its own. The guardhian who lives there wants her help, but Niamh has one goal: getting back home. She will refuse to join a fight if that's what it takes.

Nessan has done his best to shield Niamh from harm. Against his own instincts, she casts a spell that tears her out of their world. Now he is trying to work out where things went wrong, while a powerful new darkness moves toward them. He must protect the realm and everyone in it before it is too late, and keep it stable until Niamh can return.

The story raises a few open questions. Can Nessan carry out his duties and hold the realm together until Niamh is back? Can Niamh find her way out before her own realm is harmed? Or is she fated to remain in this new place forever?
