Doctor's Romance

Dr Matthew Thornton, a doctor, regards love as sugary nonsense and has little patience for it. When Dr Lorna Marsden arrives as his new colleague, she turns out to share his doubts. Their work together brings them face to face with the troubles that marriage so often causes, so neither is inclined to get emotionally involved.

Yet with their personalities and circumstances drawing them together, the pair soon find themselves caught up in the very kind of relationship they have spent their careers condemning.
