Don't Jump

Written by Blair Delancey when the author was fifteen, this poetry collection takes a skeptical, disillusioned look at the world. The poems question how people romanticize the past and how they relate to fear, faith and the forces they feel answer to. The title serves as a plea that, even when life is hard, the reader should not give up.

The verses also issue warnings about where human choices could lead, using dark imagery and ironic commentary. The collection includes a poem titled The Dish of Unity, which is dedicated to the Turks and Caicos Islands.
