Double Crossed

Liv Anderson is the daughter of a man convicted of murder, and she has carved out her own way of getting by in one of London's toughest districts. Her method is to lure men into compromising situations and then squeeze them for money.

Her scheme turns hazardous when she falls into debt to the capital's most feared gangster. To clear what she owes, she takes a post as secretary to a local property developer and must report on his movements. She has no clear idea what she is meant to find, but staying alive is what matters most. Then a local prostitute is murdered and a friend disappears, and Liv begins to suspect that survival will be harder than she expected.

Liv is also determined to learn the truth about her father's past. As she digs, her suspicious behaviour puts her in serious danger. Among gangsters, she has to ask who she can really trust.
