Downtime Shift

Evelyn Marcin is on the run, hiding out in Downtime and hoping no one finds her. A brief look at what lies ahead in the next shift changes everything, setting off a chain of events and a journey whose outcome may determine the future of the entire species.

With the help of unidentified allies, Evelyn begins to dismantle the world she left behind. She discovers that the people in charge have been bending events to suit themselves, and she learns where the echo loop truly originated and what it is meant to accomplish. As she calls into question the motives and convictions of those above her, she is forced to examine her own.

Evelyn's place in history is one she never asked for and cannot escape. Like the decision now placed in her hands, it feels both unavoidable and already settled.
