Dragon Spells

A young narrator has angered a dragon and is now running for their life. Their best hope is a father who wields magic, and the child is counting on him to arrive before the creature catches up. The narrator also knows that quick wits can only take a kid so far against a creature like this. The dragon was after more than the narrator, a fact that surfaces too late to stop her from leaping into a portal. Now the wider world is in danger, and father and child must work together to keep the dragon from taking control, with their own survival still on the line.

This is a light, playful portal fantasy that brings the characters and settings of epic fantasy into our own world. Suburban New York becomes the battleground when Ran and the cast of the Curse Breaker series take on the dragon.
