Dreamer

Vera's dreams are unusual: whatever she dreams takes on a life of its own. Her family refers to this as Dream Traveling. She has lived with the ability all her life, and over the years it has grown less disruptive. She relies on a set of personal rules and methods, and so long as she keeps to them, her nights stay under control.

Eventually she encounters something she is unable to cope with. Since then her sleep has been invaded by The Hunter, a lethal figure who seeks to lodge himself in her thoughts and leave a trail of gore behind. Vera has to expel him from her mind before he ensures she never opens her eyes again.
