Dumping Rump

In the town of New Blighty, the mayor, Ronald Rump, loses an election and then makes off with the public funds kept in the town treasury. His successor proves to be an even greater nuisance. He draws parents away from their children and keeps them confined as hostages in his pub.

The story follows the Bongster children, who must recover the stolen money and pay the ransom that will free their parents. They receive help from their pets and from a giant virus along the way.
