Dutybound

When Lucia Sannon, the young High Maiden of Moz, receives a present from a father she had long believed lost, her life is turned upside down. She and the other heirs of the noble houses must answer for the wrongs their ancestors committed and pull their realm back from the edge of Darkness. Lucia is summoned to gather the Light's Virtues, drawing on the Light Wings and the power they carry, and to lead them against the Sins that threaten to destroy the world.

The Virtues will not be easy to find. Much of the knowledge that would guide the search has been lost, and the only way to unlock the power each Virtue holds is to understand one's own morality.

This first volume of the Light Wings series is a story of faith and morality that follows its heroes on a journey of self-discovery, as they struggle with enemies outside themselves and doubts within. Duty, desire, envy, hope, hate, love, pride and temperance are all tested along the way, inviting readers to reflect on their own true nature.
