Earl's Choice

Thomas, the Earl of Bramwell, has accepted a practical arrangement: he must marry Princess Ilaria of Athawick to restore his family's shaky finances. Neither of them is eager for the match, though he has resigned himself to it.

That plan is upended when he meets Sasha Killick, the princess's body double, who captures his attention far more than any royal bride could. Sasha was taken in as an adopted member of the royal family, yet she has long felt like an observer of her own household. Because they look so alike, she agrees to help shield the princess, and this leads her to a terrace alone with Thomas. She is torn, since he is promised to a woman she thinks of as a sister and she refuses to betray her. Still, a pull grows between them into a love that seems impossible.

When people intent on harming Ilaria put Sasha in danger, Thomas must face how much he would lose if he lost the woman who has changed everything that matters to him.

The book is the second in the Regency Royals series, but it can also be read as a standalone. Readers should expect a long build of longing that eventually gives way to much more sensual content.
