Earth

This is the fourth volume in a five-part series from HeartyAndFree. It focuses on earth, one of five elements (air, fire, water, earth and ether) that the series uses to sort the characteristics of the natural world. Grouping nature this way is presented as a route to easier understanding for young children.

The book introduces the Five Elements Theory and considers where earth can be spotted in everyday surroundings, how it relates to the human body and daily experience, and which hands-on activities can be enjoyed safely. Companion resources and activities are available at heartyandfree.com/4kids.
