Electronic Communication

Madeline M Henderson looks at where electronic communication technology stands today and where it appears to be heading. The book treats these tools as a force that reshapes society, and it follows the policy questions that new developments raise.

A central part of the discussion is technology assessment applied to two public systems: criminal justice and tax administration. Readers interested in how new technologies are evaluated within government will find these areas at the heart of the work.
