Emma [adaptation]

This is a manga adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma, published in the Manga Classics line and timed for the novel's 200th anniversary. It is adapted by Crystal Chan and illustrated by manga artist Po Tse, who also drew Manga Classics: Pride and Prejudice.

The story follows Emma Woodhouse, a clever and well-off young woman in the English village of Highbury. Her impulsive efforts at matchmaking bring both comedy and heartache, and the book keeps Austen's tale of youthful folly and romantic exuberance intact for a modern audience.

Manga Classics editions present classic stories in faithful adaptations drawn in manga style, and they are available in hardcover and softcover. This volume is presented by UDON Entertainment and Morpheus Publishing.
