Learners move through each level with a grammar sequence built in a clear order, and the vocabulary is limited at every stage, so new material never arrives without preparation. Activities called Memory Gyms and Writing Gyms give students stimulating tasks that repeat newly learned language, helping it stay in long-term memory.

A companion Wordstore notebook goes with the Students' Book. It offers advice on improving memory, visual exercises for practising key terms, and generous room for students to write down new vocabulary.
