ENTER A MURDERER

A play staged in a country inn is interrupted when a murder takes place during the performance, and the investigation falls to Scotland Yard detective Roderick Alleyn. The case draws him into the tightly knit world of the theatre, where every member of the company has a reason to be watched.

The novel is the work of Ngaio Marsh, the New Zealand-born writer who became one of the central figures of the Golden Age of British detective fiction. It belongs to her long-running series featuring Alleyn, whose careful, observant methods are a hallmark of her work.

This edition is a reissue of the classic mystery in trade paperback format.
