Every Valley

Every Valley is set in London and Dublin across the winter of 1741 to 1742 and follows several people whose lives are all in turmoil.

An actress caught up in scandal is planning her escape from an abusive husband. A penniless sea captain sets out to rescue the city's abandoned infants. An African Muslim who was once held captive in the colonies finds himself a celebrity. A grieving political dissident looks for relief from his torment.

Among them is the composer George Frideric Handel, a favorite of kings who is now ill and struggling to hold an audience's attention. He faces a decision that will secure his place in history.
