Fae Queen's Captive

Janneth Carter has set magic aside. She plans to finish her graduate degree and build a steady life as an archaeologist. Then, on Halloween night at her dig site, she finds three strangers waiting beside an ancient grave in Scotland, and they carry her off into Faerie.

In that lush, sensual realm she falls under the control of the Stag Queen, a ruler who is cold, beautiful, and cruel. Janneth wants only to return home. To get there, she proposes a bargain: she will become the Queen's willing captive and pet, if the Queen agrees to keep her safe until she is free to leave Faerie.

The fae rarely keep their promises simple, and Faerie charges for everything it gives, pleasure and love included.
