Feral

Before this, the narrator had never pictured herself with a mate, and she trusted her intellect to keep the dominant alphas of her world at a distance. She earned her degree in science and built a quiet academic life she thought would shield her. Then she is assigned to work with test subject 351, a massive alpha from death row, brought to her lab so researchers can learn how to control him and bend him into a tool. Her methods offer no answers for a man this wild. When his fury turns on her, she finds that no amount of reasoning can protect her, and he is determined to claim her.

This is the first book in Nora Ash's second Omegaverse serial, a suspense-driven series also titled Feral. It is dark and sexually explicit, with rough, dominant alphas and intense romance. Readers who prefer gentler love stories should skip it.
