Fighter Cock

Shikargarh is wild, remote country in central India, ruled by a dissolute raja who lives for sex, drugs and cockfighting. His Karianath fighting cocks have long been the best in the region. Then his illegitimate son Teja brings in a new breed, the Aseel, and with them a challenge to his father's birds and to his father's throne. Teja is scheming to take the raja's place.

Sheru arrives in the middle of this. He is a brooding stranger, hired to work for the raja, and he is trying to put something behind him. As he finds his way through the harsh land, events begin to pull him into a vortex that could wreck the future he is aiming for.

Sheru has a dark past and a dangerous streak. When he finally lets his fury loose, the violence that follows engulfs everyone around him.
