Filthy Lies

Rowan married her boss and became pregnant by him, and now life has grown complicated. Her story with Vince has never been conventional. They met when she walked in on him in a compromising moment, and she later fell pregnant by him while he was supposed to be marrying someone else. As it turns out, that was only the warm-up.

Marriage to a mob boss has changed things. The Vince she fell for gave dominant commands and made filthy promises, but now he is overprotective and paranoid, and treats her as if she were fragile. Rowan is no longer the innocent assistant she once was. The boardroom where he used to take her over his desk is now a place where she sits at his side, and in the penthouse where he once whispered to her, she whispers back and he listens.

When enemies target their unborn baby, Vince falls back into his old ways, so Rowan reminds him exactly who he married. When those enemies make the mistake of kidnapping her while she is in labor, they are about to learn the same lesson.

Filthy Lies by Nicole Fox is Book 2 in the Akopov Bratva duet. Vince and Rowan's story begins in Book 1, Filthy Promises.
