Finding Fault

Geologist Evie O'Halloran has spent her life fighting for the environment, and her latest target is Farmexal, a chemical manufacturer in Saskatchewan. Traces of the company's harmful products keep appearing, with no clear explanation, in the fields of nearby farmers.

Standing in Evie's way is Merritt Shepherd, an investigator with the Ministry of Environmental Resources who wants to reshape environmental policy. Merritt has gone undercover inside Farmexal just as the firm faces a situation that could become a disaster on a huge scale. Evie and Merritt hold sharply opposing views on how to stop environmental harm, and neither of them is interested in romance.

Evie is working to manage her PTSD while Merritt's cover is at stake: confiding in Evie could destroy the investigation. As their attraction grows, stronger than either has known before, they must put their own hearts on the line to protect their relationship and the land they both care about.
