Finley

Conductor Jones holds firm that wild animals have no place aboard a train, and he treats the rule as non-negotiable. Finley, a good-natured moose with a wide, toothy smile, has other plans. Finley's one wish is to ride the tracks through Alaska and farther still.

When Finley visits a costume shop and tries on disguises in the hope of passing as anything other than a wild animal, the conductor sees through every one. Finley's real advantage turns out to be courage and persistence, a reminder that some rules are meant to be changed.

The illustrations capture both Finley's personality and the charm of a railway journey through Alaska. The book is aimed at young readers and at anyone who likes the idea of turning the impossible into something achievable.
