Fire and Wolves

Sabine Wolfensberger is ten years old and has just started at Onaxx Academy for Mages, a school she had looked forward to attending. Her excitement fades once a classmate begins to torment her.

Shapeshifting is an uncommon talent, and Sabine's new ability is one she hopes to master at the academy. Her dream is to learn to control it well enough to change into a horse. Instead of focusing on her lessons, she finds herself the target of a cruel student.

Her family supports her, and a few new friends offer their help. Still, Sabine must find the nerve to ask for assistance if the bullying is to stop. The story asks whether she can speak up for herself, or whether a classmate's cruelty will ruin her time at the school.
