Fourth World

Fourth World is a road adventure for young adults that blends fantasy and science fiction. Danny can be slow and hard to handle, but his step-brother Christie will not let him set off alone to find his mother, who works in a hidden laboratory far away in Scotland. Because of an oil crisis, the boys have to walk most of the journey. Along the way they pick up some odd companions, including a dog that can talk.
