Foxglove

A nobleman lies dead, and the lord of Thorn Grove is blamed for the killing. Nearby, Fate, the brother of Death, has settled into a lavish palace, consumed by a need for vengeance over the loss of a woman he once loved. He has set his sights on Signa and intends to make her his own, whatever it takes.

Signa and her cousin Blythe think Fate is the only one who can free Elijah Hawthorne from his unjust imprisonment, but only if the girls agree to receive him. The longer they stay in his company, the more sinister their situation becomes. Signa begins to display startling new abilities that seem bound to Fate's own past.

Surrounded by peril and deception, the cousins must decide who deserves their trust as they move through high society, investigate the killings that cast a shadow over their family, and take part in Fate's strange games. Their futures are at stake in every move.
