Full Figured

Carl Weber brings together two popular Urban Books divas to give readers what they've been asking for: stories about big, beautiful women. Age is just a number, and whoever said that full-figured women don't know how to bring fire to a relationship was sadly mistaken. Who Ya Wit' (by Brenda Hampton): Desa Rae Jenkins just turned forty, and she's alone now that her divorce is final and her son has gone away to college. Since her divorce, she's taken to her bed, watching life pass her by. When Roc, a twenty-four-year-old with a jaw dropping body comes along, he completely changes the game. Desa Rae can't keep her eyes open or legs closed to a man who excites her like no other man has. But, can she really be serious about a man who is almost the same age as her son? Why not, especially if he's the one responsible for shaking her from her misery? If she can learn to deal with his occupation and the other women in his life, things might turn out okay for Desa Rae. Seven Year Itch (by La Jill Hunt): Etienne Chanel Frederick is a diva in her own right. Smart, sassy, and successful, she has always had it going on; so much so that not only did the full-figured beauty catch the eye of Major, the sexiest dude on the block, but she encouraged him to leave the dope game and become legit. Now, seven years later, Etienne is working hard and trying to move ahead, but it seems that Major isn't feeling the same way. She's realizing that things aren't the way she dreamed they would be, and maybe in addition to their growing up, they've grown apart. Working with Vaughn, her attractive coworker who seems to be more understanding than Major, isn't helping her situation either. Is the love between Etienne and Major strong enough to keep them together, or will the strength of that love make them realize it's time to let go?
