Ghostly Game

Gideon "Eagle" Carpenter has learned to take whatever life throws at him, and that habit has kept him alive. He and his team of GhostWalkers have seen and done a great deal, and he does his best to live with the sins on his conscience. Then he hears the laughter of a woman who can wipe away the darkness of his past, if only for a few moments.

Laurel "Rory" Chappel has always been a nomad. She is used to looking after herself despite the physical challenges she lives with, and she believes she is too weak to find real love. That belief does not stop her interest in Gideon from becoming an obsession. He is rough-edged and dangerous, yet gentle in a way that makes her feel safe. After a life spent moving from place to place, though, she is not sure she knows how to stay put.

Gideon hopes that each charged touch will persuade Rory to take a chance on him. Soon, however, circumstances turn against him, and the GhostWalker must risk everything to protect the woman he loves. Ghostly Game is a suspenseful, sensual entry in Christine Feehan's GhostWalker series, which follows soldiers with enhanced psychic abilities.
