Goblin War

Imagine life as a goblin in a cave beneath a mountain, where you are the smallest of your kind, the only one who prays to a deity everyone else has long abandoned, and the first suspect whenever something goes wrong. That is the situation facing Jig Dragonslayer, a goblin with a reputation he never wanted. He has already survived a quest that pitted him against a dragon and a necromancer, a pixie attack that left ogres and trolls in tatters, and the looming prospect of being named goblin chief, which frightens him more than any monster.

Trouble is gathering in the lands beyond the Mountain. When human warriors break into the goblin lair in search of the Rod of Creation, Jig realizes that the chaos so far was only a warm-up for a much worse day.
