God's Problem Child

Nina Thompson sets out alone for a hike to Lookout Point at Little Creek Lake after her best friend, Richard Anderson, cancels their weekend plans. On the trail she comes across a dying wolf who turns out to be a wolf-spirit, or shifter, called Bullet. Somehow Nina can understand him and speak to him in wolf language, and she is convinced she can heal him, as she once healed Richard when she was a child.

Her attempt does not go as planned. The ground shakes and the mountain rumbles, and Nina and Bullet find themselves standing in ethereal form beside their physical bodies. In that state Nina learns that the people around her, apart from her Aunt Jett, have been concealing their true natures, and that those secrets are now coming out. Wolf-spirits are searching for Bullet, and a man is threatening Nina and her family.

The story is set in the small casino town of Cripple Creek, Colorado, where magical beings have been living unnoticed. It is the first book in the Blood Bond series and is part of the IndigoMoon Paranormal Adventure Series.
